To make homemade plum tkemali really thick, it needs to be boiled for a long time. And this is not a very pleasant process, especially on hot summer days. But part of the problem is solved by a slow cooker, thanks to which the stove does not need to be turned on for hours.


Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the seeds from the plum and fill the halves with salt directly in the bowl of the slow cooker. Leave it on for 15 minutes.

Turn on the "Quenching" mode for 20 minutes.

Chop the plums with a blender and add the chopped pepper, garlic, herbs and all the spices.

Turn on the "Frying" mode for 20 minutes and cook the sauce, stirring.

Roll up the tkemali in sterile jars.
