In my opinion, the best thing that can be made from yellow plums for the winter is compote. And if not the best, then at least the simplest and easiest, because you can not even get rid of the bones. I share a recipe that has been tested for years.
Ingredients
- Plums (yellow) – 600 g
- Sugar - 300 g
- Citric acid - 2 pinches
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Arrange the plums in clean, dry jars.
Pour boiling water and leave for 15 minutes under the lids.
Drain this water, add sugar and citric acid to it.
Boil it again and pour it back in.
Roll up the compote for the winter.
