A great way to cook irga for the winter is to cook a thick jam from it–five minutes. This technology requires quite a lot of time for the workpiece to cool down. But it pays off in full with a minimum of effort that you will spend.
Ingredients
- Irga - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cook the syrup from sugar and water.
Send the irga there, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
Let the workpiece cool down and boil again for 5 minutes.
If desired, mash the jam to a more homogeneous consistency.
Boil it for another 5 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
