Ingredients

  • Figs - 1 kg
  • Orange - 1 piece
  • Sugar - 600 g
  • Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 1 glass

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the figs, cut them into small pieces and put them in a deep saucepan.

Scald the orange with boiling water, peel, white films, chop and pour into the same saucepan.

Add sugar, cover and leave at room temperature for 3-4 hours.

Pour in water, bring to a boil over low heat and boil for 15 minutes.

Add citric acid and cook for another 5 minutes.

Put the hot jam in sterilized jars, close the lids and leave for a day in a warm place.
