Many cooks add various cereals to the ear to make it even thicker and more satisfying. Today I propose to try an interesting recipe with pearl barley. We will cook it from salmon fillets and cod. An amazing dish with an amazing flavor!

Rinse the pearl barley and soak it in water for half an hour.

Wash salmon and cod fillets, cut into small pieces.

Peel potatoes and onions, chop. Grate the carrots.

Put the cod and bay leaf in a saucepan, pour cold water and cook for 20 minutes.

Catch the cod with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add salmon, pearl barley and potatoes to the pan. Cook for half an hour on low heat.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Pour the fried fish, cod and lemon zest into a saucepan with fish soup. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.

Add salt, turn off and leave under the lid for 10 minutes.

When serving, add chopped dill.
