The easiest thing to do with a barberry is to dry it. But if the soul asks for something more original and you are not looking for easy ways - try to roll barberry jelly into jars. It tastes so much like children's favorite lollipops.
Ingredients
- Barberry - 1 kg
- Water - 2 glasses
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the washed barberry with water and boil until the berries are soft.
Rub the mass through a sieve.
Add sugar to this juice and cook the jelly over low heat until it is twice boiled.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
