Apricot jam with sunny slices of fruit in transparent sweet syrup was always cooked by my grandmother. A slice of fresh bread with a fragrant delicacy, and with a glass of fresh milk… Wonderful memories come from childhood! I share my grandmother's recipe.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the apricots, dry them slightly, divide them into halves and remove the seeds.

Boil syrup from water and sugar.

Pour boiling syrup over the apricot halves, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes. Remove the jam from the heat and cool.

Repeat the cooking procedure twice more.

Pour the hot jam into pre-sterilized jars, seal tightly, turn upside down and cool. Store the cooled apricot jam in a cool, dark place.
