In November, the mass collection of rows begins. They are dried, frozen and of course canned with spices. I like to cook pickled rows. There are many interesting recipes, but today I will tell you the one I use most often.
Ingredients
- Rows - 2 kg
- Water - 3 l
For Marinade:
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 30 g
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Clean the rows thoroughly, rinse and pour cold water overnight.
Rinse again, place in a saucepan with clean water and boil for 20 minutes.
Flip into a colander and leave to drain.
Boil water in a deep saucepan, add sugar, salt and spices.
Add the rows and cook for 40 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add vinegar and arrange in sterilized jars. Roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a warm blanket for a day.
