Pickled apricots are a unique combination of flavors: they are salty, sour, spicy and sweet at the same time. The snack is ideal for baked poultry and fatty fried meat. For lovers of experiments and unusual blanks - what you need! I share the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Apricots - 10 pcs.
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
  • Carnation - 3 pcs.
  • Black Pepper (peas) – 10 pcs.
  • Water - 400 ml
  • Vinegar (9%) – 2 tbsp.l.
  • Sugar - 1 art.l.
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the apricots and place them in a sterile jar.

Boil water and pour boiling water over the fruits in a jar. Cover the jar with a sterile lid and leave to warm up for 15-20 minutes.

Then drain the water from the jar into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, bay leaf, peppercorns and cloves. Mix everything together and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add the vinegar and remove the marinade from the heat.

Pour boiling marinade over apricots in a jar and immediately roll up. Cool the workpiece at room temperature and store it in a cool, dark place.
