If you have any fresh figs left, you can always dry them. Or you can go further and make a wonderful jam from it for the winter. And at the same time diversify the typical preparations of berries and fruits with something more unexpected and interesting.

Ingredients

  • Figs - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Water - 2 tbsp.l .

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the figs, dry them, cut off the tails and cover it with sugar.

Add water, bring the jam to a boil and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

Let it cool and boil for another 5 minutes. And so 2-3 more times.

Before the last cooking, if desired, chop the jam with a blender.

Roll it up in sterile jars.
