Cooking jam on the stove is long and hot, so I suggest cooking it in the oven. This time we will take a pear as a basis, and what to do with it next – I will tell you in the recipe. Jam can be used as a filling for pies or simply spread on bread.

Ingredients

  • Pear - 2 kg
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1.5 kg

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the pear and put it through a meat grinder.

Mix with water and sugar, and put in a mold.

Cover with a lid or foil and place in a preheated 180 degree oven.

After 20 minutes, reduce the temperature to 120 degrees.

Bake the povido for another 1-1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.

Roll it up in sterile jars.
