It's hard to imagine a winter feast without delicious pickles. If you are tired of cooking them in the usual way, it's time to try a new recipe. You can preserve pickled cucumbers with onions. Vegetables will delight with an unusual aroma and taste.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 2 kg
- Onion - 300 g
- Garlic - half a head
- Greenery (any) – a couple of twigs
- Coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Mustard Seeds - 0,5 tsp.
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Vinegar - 80 ml
- Sugar - 40 g
- Salt - 40 g
- Water - 1,8 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion and cut into rings.
Peel the garlic from the husk and cut into large pieces.
Put herbs, spices, onions, garlic and cucumbers in jars.
Pour boiling water and leave it under the lids for half an hour.
Drain the water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil again and pour it into jars with vegetables.
After 20 minutes, drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt.
Boil for 1 minute, pour in the vinegar and immediately remove from heat.
Pour the marinade into jars, roll it up and leave it warm for a day.
