Clean the black currant from dry tails and rinse.

Put the berries in a frying pan, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and warm up for a couple of minutes.

Add the remaining sugar, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Put the hot jam in clean, dry jars and roll it up.
