Nevezhinskaya mountain ash is a real find for cooks. In particular, it makes amazing preparations for the winter. This jam is ideal for tea, other dishes and desserts, and just to strengthen the immune system in winter.

Ingredients

  • Mountain Ash (nevezhinskaya) – 1 kg
  • Water - 3 glasses
  • Sugar - 1.7 kg

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash and dry the rowan, and pour boiling water for a couple of minutes.

Boil the syrup from water and sugar, and send the berry there.

Stir, remove the syrup from the heat and leave overnight.

Bring to a boil again, remove from the heat and leave for half an hour.

Boil the jam again, and remove from the heat again.

Repeat this procedure to the desired consistency and roll the jam into jars.
