For several years now, I have been happy to preserve cherry gherkins for the winter. This recipe allows you to preserve the taste and aroma of summer for many months. Juicy gherkins combined with sweet and sour cherries are sure to please all your household and guests.
Ingredients
- Gherkins - 400 g
- Cherry tomatoes - 400 g
- Bell pepper - 0.5 pieces
- Dill - 1 umbrella
- Allspice - 5 peas
- Black Pepper - 5 peas
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Garlic - 5 teeth
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Water - 1 l
- Vinegar - 6 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water.
Put all vegetables and spices with additives in a sterile jar.
Pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes under the lid.
Drain this water, boil it again, pour it back in and leave for another 10 minutes.
Drain again, add sugar, salt and vinegar, and bring to a boil.
Pour the marinade into a jar and roll up the gherkins with cherry.
