Adjika is a wonderful combination of sharpness and flavor, which is perfect for any dishes. It can be added to meat and vegetables, or used instead of sauce. This time I propose to cook a spicy adjika from tomatoes, peppers and apples.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 kg
- Onion - 300 g
- Apples - 500 g
- Garlic - 1 head
- Hot red pepper - 200 g
- Vegetable oil - 150 ml
- Salt - 30 g
- Sugar - 40 g
- Hop-suneli - 1 art.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 70 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel all vegetables, fruits, garlic and hot pepper.
Pass through a meat grinder and add sugar, salt and butter.
Bring to a boil and cook for about an hour on low heat.
Add vinegar and spices, and boil the adjika for another 5-7 minutes.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
