- Beetroot (boiled) – 2 kg
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Citric acid - 5 g
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
- Water - 2,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the boiled beets and cut them into large pieces.
Put spices and chopped beets in jars.
Boil water, add sugar, salt, citric acid and boil for 1 minute.
Pour the boiling marinade into the jars and sterilize for 10 minutes.
Roll up the pickled beets, turn the jars upside down and wrap them with a thick towel for a day.
