There is no doubt about the benefits of lemons. In order not to run to the store for saving fruits in winter, you should worry about stocks in advance. I offer a proven recipe for lemon jam with zest. It will delight with a refreshing taste and will help out great during the cold period.

Ingredients

  • Lemon - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1,5 kg
  • Water - 250 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put the lemons in a colander and scald with boiling water.

Peel the citrus fruits from the peel and white films, chop them in a blender.

Chop the fourth part of the yellow peel in a blender separately.

Boil water, add sugar and prepared zest. Boil for 5 minutes.

Pour in the preparation of lemons and cook everything together for another 10 minutes.

Put the hot lemon jam in clean, dry jars and roll it up.
