Natural cherry juice is a real lifesaver during cozy winter feasts. Prepare this drink at the height of the berry harvest and save a piece of summer in a jar. From the specified number of products, I get about 2 liters of fragrant juice.
Ingredients
- Cherry (fresh) – 3 kg
- Sugar - 1200 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort the cherry, remove the stalks, then rinse, fold into a colander and remove the seeds.
Put the cherry pulp in a juicer and squeeze out the juice. Pour the cherry juice into an enameled container and send it to settle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Then strain the juice through cheesecloth, add sugar and mix well so that the sugar dissolves.
Bring the cherry juice to a boil over low heat and pour into pre-prepared sterile jars, roll up. Store homemade cherry juice in a dark, cool place.
