Blueberries are a very delicate berry, so compotes are not cooked from it often. Usually it goes into jam or frozen. But still, every year I can't deny myself this wonderful piece of summer in the middle of winter. Strawberries and blueberries are the best reminder of warm days.
Ingredients
- Strawberries - 500 g
- Blueberries - 400 g
- Sugar - 350 g
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
- Water - 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the berry, remove the tails and debris, and put it in sterile jars.
Cover with sugar and citric acid.
Pour boiling water and sterilize the jars in a saucepan for another 10-15 minutes.
Roll up the compote for the winter.
