They say there are two types of people: tomato lovers and cucumber lovers. But what if you love all vegetables equally? And why choose when they are so perfectly combined with each other! Catch a great recipe for harvesting cucumbers and tomatoes at the same time.

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers - 400 g
  • Tomatoes - 300 g
  • Dill - 1 umbrella
  • Black Pepper (peas) – 5 pieces
  • Allspice (polka dots) – 5 pieces
  • Bay leaf - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 5 teeth
  • Vinegar (9%) – 6 art.l.
  • Water - 1 l
  • Salt - 2 art.l.
  • Sugar - 4 art.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put bay leaf, dill, garlic and both types of pepper on the bottom of a sterilized jar.

Carefully arrange the vegetables in any order, but so as not to mash the tomatoes.

Boil the water and pour the vegetables for 10 minutes. Then drain, boil again and pour again for the same time.

Drain the water again, add vinegar, sugar and salt, bring the marinade to a boil and boil until the sugar dissolves.

Fill cucumbers with tomatoes with marinade and roll up the jar.
