If you like Georgian cuisine, try cooking vegetable stew with beef. It's satisfying, simple and very tasty! To reduce the burning of the dish, peel the hot pepper from the seeds and rinse lightly under running water.
Ingredients
- Beef (clipping) – 350 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Chili pepper - 1 pod
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Allspice - 2 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Parsley - 3 twigs
- Water (cleaned) – 500 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the beef, dry it slightly and cut into medium-sized pieces.
Chop both kinds of hot peppers, carrots, peeled onions and potatoes.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the beef and fry on high heat for 7-10 minutes.
Add onion, carrot, hot pepper and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Transfer the roast to a deep saucepan, add bay leaf, allspice and hot water. Cook for half an hour on low heat.
Pour in the potatoes, add salt and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Insist the finished stew under the lid for 20 minutes. When serving, add chopped parsley to the plate.
