Vegetable salads are far from the only salads that can be prepared for the winter. And the recipe for a great salad with fish is a clear confirmation of this. It will easily replace an appetizer or main course, and at the same time it can be served immediately.

Pass the peeled tomatoes through a meat grinder and randomly chop the rest of the vegetables.

Boil the fish until tender and also cut into pieces.

Fry the onion, carrot and pepper until soft. Add the tomatoes, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.

Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt and fish, and bring to a boil again.

Simmer for another 15 minutes. Add the bay leaf and vinegar, and cook for another 15 minutes.

Roll the fish salad into sterile jars.
