If you often cook desserts, you will certainly need red currant syrup. It can be used to impregnate biscuits, add to tea, compote and sauces. Just pour syrup over a piece of bread and it's already very tasty!
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 1,5 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 200 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the red currant from the brushes and rinse.
Grind in a blender or pass through a meat grinder.
Add water, sugar and leave for 1 hour.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Strain through a double layer of gauze.
Boil the resulting liquid for 10 minutes.
Pour into jars, roll up the syrup and wrap it well for a day.
