From one name it becomes clear that such harvesting should be done at the end of summer. Sun-soaked vegetables are crushed and boiled with spices. I cook lecho "August" without garlic, but you can add it to your taste.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pass tomatoes and carrots through a meat grinder. Peel the bell peppers and onions and chop them.

Mix everything, add sugar, salt and leave for 30-40 minutes.

Put the pan on the fire and bring to a boil, pour in the oil and simmer for 40 minutes.

Add vinegar, stir and remove from heat.

Put the lecho in prepared jars, roll it up and wrap it up for a day with a warm blanket.
