As you know, hot pepper is able to enhance the taste of meat dishes. Therefore, in the pantry of every good housewife there should be a jar of this burning snack. Pickled hot pepper is perfect for both a festive and everyday table. I share the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Chili pepper - 1,5 kg
  • Water - 1 l
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l .
  • Vinegar (9%) – 250 ml
  • Sugar - 250 g
  • Salt - 3 tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse the chili pepper, dry it slightly, make several punctures on each with a toothpick in the area of the peduncle.

Boil the water and put the prepared pepper in boiling water. Boil over medium heat until the fruits change color. It is important not to overcook the billet so that the pepper does not lose its shape!

Put the pepper in pre-sterilized jars.

Prepare the marinade. To do this, pour 1 liter of water into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil. Stir, bring to a boil and boil over low heat until the salt and sugar are completely dissolved.

Pour boiling marinade pepper in jars to the top. Roll up the jars immediately, turn them upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Transfer the cooled workpiece to a cool, dark place for storage.
