Making jam from large gooseberries is a great way to save berries for the winter and enjoy their bright taste at any time of the year. Jam can be used as an independent delicacy, or as a filling for pies and cupcakes.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sort out the gooseberries and cut off the tails.

Boil water with sugar and boil the syrup for 5-7 minutes.

Pour in the gooseberries and leave overnight.

Bring the jam to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.

Let it cool, boil for another 10 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
