Due to the fact that pumpkin is naturally sweet, jam from it sometimes turns out quite cloying. Therefore, an excellent solution is to diversify it with a small amount of sour berries. For example, cranberries. I'm telling you how to do it better.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 600 g
- Cranberries - 700 g
- Sugar - 700 g
- Cinnamon - 2 sticks
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the pumpkin into pieces, add a little water and simmer for 10 minutes.
Chop the cranberries with a blender and add to the pumpkin. Add sugar to the same place and bring everything to a boil.
Add the cinnamon and cook the jam for about 40 minutes on low heat.
Roll up in sterile jars.
