For reasons I don't understand, physalis is not as popular as other fruits. But after trying the physalis jam, you will definitely change your mind, because it is not only delicious, but also incredibly useful.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the physalis fruits well and cut in half. Put it in a saucepan and cover with sugar. Leave for half an hour for the berries to let the juice.
Put the jam on medium heat, stir constantly so as not to burn. Cook the jam for 35-40 minutes. At the end, add citric acid and the juice of one lemon, stir and boil for a few more minutes.
Cans can not be sterilized. Just rinse them well and dry them. Pour the jam into jars and roll up. Turn the lids down and wrap with a warm towel. Hide the cooled jam in a dark place or in the refrigerator.
