Cabbage for winter can be cooked with any other vegetables. And even with fruit! I offer my signature salad recipe with carrots, apples and aromatic spices. A great option to diversify your daily diet.
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 2 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 kg
- Apples - 1 kg
- Salt - 2 art.l.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Chili pepper - 1 pod
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a Korean grater and cut the pepper into strips.
Cut the apples into thin plates and chop the chili. Add garlic if desired.
Add all the spices and vinegar to the vegetables, mix well and arrange tightly in sterilized jars.
Put the jars in a saucepan with water, bring to a boil and sterilize for 20 minutes.
Seal the salad as needed and roll up.
