Cook pea soup with pork ribs for lunch! The dish is simple, but very tasty. Pre-soak the peas, fry the ribs for a brighter flavor. And add green peas and chopped tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • Pork ribs (smoked) – 400 g
  • Peas (dry) – 1.5 glasses
  • Green peas - 100 g
  • Tomatoes - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 3 clove
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Carrots - 1 piece
  • Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
  • Bay leaf (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water (purified) – 2.5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Dry peas thoroughly rinse and soak for 2 hours in cold water.

Put the peas in a colander, rinse again and pour into boiling water. Cook for 1 hour.

Chop the smoked ribs, carrots, tomatoes and peeled onions.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.

Add the ribs, ground bay leaf and finely chopped garlic. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour tomatoes into a saucepan with peas, roast with ribs and cook for 15 minutes.

Add green peas, salt, ground pepper. Warm up for 2 minutes on low heat and turn off. Infuse the finished soup under the lid for 15-20 minutes.
