When I run out of ideas on what to do with certain fruits, I prefer not to waste time in vain and just make jam out of them. Even small pears, even greenish ones, go perfectly into it. Fresh, they may not be too good, but they are perfect in jam.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Randomly slice the pears.
Boil water with sugar and boil the syrup for 5 minutes.
Add the pears, bring to a boil again and boil for 5 minutes.
Let the billet cool and boil again for 5 minutes.
Let cool again. Add citric acid and cinnamon.
Boil the jam from small pears for 5 minutes.
Roll it up in sterilized jars.
