It is difficult to imagine traditional Russian cuisine without an appetizing pickle. It is prepared according to different recipes. Sometimes the soup is cooked from several types of meat with the addition of sausage or sausages. I share a recipe for pickle with chicken and sausage.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 300 g
- Sausage - 200 g
- Cucumbers (salty) – 3 pieces
- Pearl barley - half a glass
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
- Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.l.
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Water (cleaned) – 2,5 l
- Green onion (for submission) – 3 stems
- Parsley (for submission) – 2 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, slice it and place it in a saucepan with water.
Add the washed pearl barley, bay leaf, black pepper and cook for half an hour after boiling.
Chop the sausage, cucumbers, carrots, peeled potatoes, bell peppers and onions.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.
Add the bell pepper, sausage and continue to fry for 4-5 minutes.
Add tomato paste, a couple of spoonfuls of hot broth from the pan and crushed peas of allspice. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour the roast, potatoes, cucumbers into a saucepan with meat and boil everything together for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Add salt, turn off the heat and insist under the lid for 15 minutes.
Serve the pickle hot, sprinkling with chopped parsley and green onions.
