Unripe figs are not too edible by themselves, but they are an excellent basis for a delicious, sweet and healthy jam. And then I'll tell you how to cook it properly, without spending too much time and effort.

Ingredients

  • Figs (green) – 300 g
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l .
  • Water - 50 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the figs, cut off the tails, cover it with sugar and add lemon juice and water.

Bring everything to a boil and boil for 15 minutes.

Let the jam cool for 40 minutes and cook for another 10 minutes.

Repeat the previous step and roll the jam into sterile jars.
