To prepare a homogeneous quince jam with minimal effort – use a meat grinder. You don't have to cut and rub anything by hand, and this saves time perfectly. Optionally, you can pass the workpiece through the grate twice.
Ingredients
- Quince - 1 kg
- Sugar - 500 g
- Water - 0.5 glasses
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Select the overripe quince fruits, remove the middle and pass it through a meat grinder along with the peel.
Add water, bring to a boil and cook the jam for half an hour on low heat.
Add sugar, boil until dissolved and continue to cook for another 20 minutes.
Let the workpiece cool down and bring it to a boil again. Boil for another 20 minutes.
Repeat the previous step and roll the hot jam into sterile jars.
