Pick the cherry plum, remove the tails, rinse with cold water.
Fill pre-sterilized jars with cherry plum.
Pour sugar into jars with cherry plum (about 80 g for each liter jar).
Boil water and pour boiling water over the cherry plum in jars to the very top.
Close the jars with the blank hermetically with sterile lids. Put the jars on their sides on a towel spread out and roll them from side to side several times so that the sugar is evenly distributed and dissolved in the syrup.
Turn the jars of cherry plum compote upside down and cool. Store the cooled workpiece for 1 year in a cool, dark place.
