I will be happy to share a recipe that I have been using for many years. Thick jam-five minutes of fragrant lingonberries is prepared without sterilization and thickeners. Berries are quickly boiled, while retaining their useful substances.

Ingredients

  • Lingonberries - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 800 g
  • Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
  • Water (filtered) – 1 glass

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sort out the lingonberries, rinse and put them on a paper towel to dry.

Pour the berries into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add sugar and put aside for 3-4 hours.

Put the pan on low heat, add water, citric acid and boil for 5 minutes.

Put the hot jam in the prepared jars and roll it up. It should be stored in a dark, cool place.
