Savory pickles are often served to warm up the appetite and as a snack to hot drinks. Usually these are tomatoes or cucumbers. But you can also cook delicious spicy zucchini. It is advisable to preserve young vegetables with a thin skin.
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 2 kg
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 5 teeth
- Dill - 50 g
- Horseradish (leaves) – 2 pieces
- Currant leaves - 4 pieces
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Sugar - 80 g
- Salt - 60 g
- Water - 1,8 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the zucchini into thick circles.
Chop the hot pepper and peeled garlic.
Put dill, currant and horseradish leaves, hot pepper, garlic, black pepper in prepared jars.
Lay the zucchini tightly, shaking several times in the process.
Boil water, add sugar and salt.
Pour the marinade into jars and sterilize for 15 minutes.
Remove the jars from the sterilization bath, add vinegar and roll up.
