Georgian cuisine is very rich in famous dishes, including sauces. For example, such a cherry plum tkemali is ideal not only for shish kebab, but also for any other meat, poultry and even vegetables dishes.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum - 1 kg
- Water - 0.5 glasses
- Cilantro - 1 bundle
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Coriander - 2 tsp.
- Mint (dried) – 2 tsp.
- Hop-suneli - 2 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the cherry plum with water and simmer for 20 minutes.
Drain the water from the cherry plum and rub it through a sieve.
Add chopped coriander, garlic and pepper.
Bring the sauce to a boil and add salt and spices.
Mix thoroughly and pour the tkemali into sterile jars.
