Fragrant pumpkin jam is something new against the background of berry and fruit preparations. But I suggest that we immediately make it even more original, and add a little dried apricots and orange to it. A very harmonious balance of taste, and what an appetizing color!
Ingredients
- Pumpkin (pulp) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Dried apricots - 200 g
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Orange - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the dried apricots in cold water for 20 minutes, and peel the citrus fruits from the films and separate the pulp.
Pass this pulp, dried apricots and randomly chopped pumpkin through a meat grinder.
Add sugar, stir and cook the jam for about an hour on low heat.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
