Ingredients

  • Garlic - 500 g
  • Beetroot (red) – 300 g
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Black Pepper - 4 peas
  • Allspice - 3 peas
  • Vinegar - 100 ml
  • Sugar - 30 g
  • Salt - 25 g
  • Water (filtered) – 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the garlic heads from the top layer of husk.

Place in a saucepan with boiling water, boil for 1 minute and transfer to ice water.

Peel the beetroot and cut into pieces of any shape.

Put spices, beets and garlic in sterilized jars.

Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour vinegar, boiling marinade into jars and roll up.
