Fresh figs don't really impress me, but fig jam is just a cosmic mixture. Not too sweet, thick and fragrant, but with a combination of nuts, it can be used as an original dessert for tea.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the figs and put them through a meat grinder. I leave a few fruits whole and cut them into small pieces. They give an interesting taste to the finished jam.
Combine the fig mass with sugar, mix well and put on medium heat to cook.
Stir constantly and cook for 40 minutes to get a thick consistency of jam.
Send the finished jam to sterilized jars, roll up and store in a dark, cool place.
