I could list the advantages of such a billet for the winter for a long time, but I think it's better for you to see everything on your own experience. Prepare the pickled Bulgarian pepper without sterilization, roll it up and in a month you can take the first sample.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 2 kg
- Rosemary - 2 twigs
- Currant leaves - 6 pieces
- Vinegar - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 120 ml
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Sugar - 180 g
- Salt - 60 g
- Water (purified) – 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Prepare the bell pepper, peel the seeds and stalks, cut into small slices.
In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add currant leaves, rosemary, black pepper, sugar, salt and oil.
Add chopped pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
Add vinegar and boil for another 3 minutes.
Carefully put the pepper in sterilized jars, pour boiling marinade and roll up.
