Everyone admires my pickles because I know how to cook them properly. Try one of my favorite recipes. Prepare crispy pickled cucumbers with onions and carrots for the winter. I guarantee you will be satisfied with the results.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 3 kg
- Carrots (young) – 200 g
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 100 g
- Dill - 50 g
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Mustard Seeds - 0,5 tsp.
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 100 g
- Salt - 80 g
- Water - 2,7 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash cucumbers and soak for 3 hours in cold water.
Cut carrots and peeled onions into small pieces.
Put dill, spices, peeled garlic cloves, carrots, onions and cucumbers in jars.
Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave for 20-30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add citric acid, sugar and salt.
Boil for 2 minutes, add vodka and immediately remove from heat.
Pour the boiling marinade into jars, roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it well with a thick towel.
