I want to share a recipe for natural applesauce. Incredibly tender, fragrant delicacy will be a real find for those who have children. For pancakes, cheesecakes, pancakes, pastries or for making homemade marshmallows… There are a lot of use cases.
Ingredients
- Apples (net weight) – 2 kg
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the apples, remove the cores and cut into arbitrary pieces.
Place the prepared apples in a cooking pot, add water and, with minimal heat, stirring occasionally, boil for 30-60 minutes (the fruits should become soft). Depending on the variety and degree of maturity of apples, more or less water may be needed, I indicate an approximate amount.
Add sugar, stir and cook on low heat under the lid for another 10-15 minutes.
Beat the hot apple mass with a blender into a homogeneous puree, put it back on the fire and, stirring constantly, warm the puree for 10 minutes on low heat.
Pour boiling applesauce into pre-sterilized jars, seal tightly, turn upside down, wrap and leave to cool completely. Transfer the cooled workpiece to a cool, dark place for storage.
