For example, here is a compote in which two types of berries are used at once.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 250 g
- Black Currant - 250 g
- Sugar - 250 g
- Water - 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash both types of berries, remove twigs and debris and put them in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water over the berries, cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes.
Drain the water and boil it again.
Dissolve sugar in boiling water, pour currants and roll up.
