Everyone in our family loves compotes. We always open them on holidays and often drink just like that. For this reason, I have tried many recipes for a healthy drink. I offer you a proven version of gooseberry and black currant compote.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 250 g
- Black Currant - 250 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick the berries and rinse.
Boil water, add gooseberries, currants, sugar and cook for 5 minutes.
Add citric acid and boil for another 5 minutes.
Pour the compote into jars, roll it up and wrap it well with a thick towel.
