Ingredients
- Peaches - 1 kg
- Sugar - 2 glasses
- Water - 2 l
- Vanilla pod - 2 pieces
- Cinnamon - 4 sticks
- Star anise - 4 asterisks
- Allspice (with peas) – 0.5 tsp.
- Carnation (buds) – 0.5 tsp.
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the peaches in half and put them in sterile jars.
Put the spices in the same place and cover everything with sugar.
Pour boiling water over the peaches, and sterilize the jars for 10 minutes in boiling water.
Add citric acid and roll up the compote.
