In order not to open several cans at once for the feast and then not look for a place for them in the refrigerator, I prefer to roll up gherkins with cherry tomatoes at once together. Moreover, it is desirable to marinate them in small jars – at once.
Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes - 500 g
- Gherkins - 500 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Dill - 4 twigs
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 art.l.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Celery (green) – 40 g
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 60 g
- Salt - 40 g
- Vinegar - 2.5 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water with sugar and salt, and add vinegar.
Arrange the gherkins, cherries and all the additives in sterile jars.
Pour boiling marinade and leave for 20 minutes under the lids.
Drain the marinade, boil again, pour back in and roll up.
