Sterilization is a necessary, but not the most pleasant process. Boiling cans in a saucepan with boiling water is at least inconvenient, and at most it is also hot. Especially if you have a lot of cans, or they are large. I tell you how to roll up a compote of peaches without it.

Ingredients

  • Peaches - 1.5 kg
  • Water - 2.5-3 l
  • Sugar - 600 g
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the peaches into medium pieces and put them in sterile jars.

Cover them with sugar, leave for 5 minutes and add citric acid.

Pour boiling water over the peaches and roll up the jars.
